Carl Corry Carl Corry began his ballet training at the age of seven under the instruction of his parents, Pittman Corry and Karen Conrad-Corry in their school, Southern Ballet of Atlanta, and continued there for eleven years. In 1975, Carl won a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School and after one year joined the Joffrey Two Dancers, training and performing extensively. In 1978, Robert Joffrey asked Carl to join the main company where he danced many leading roles until 1995, including Petrouchka, Les Patineurs (Blue Boy), Mercutio, Profiteer (Green Table), Postcards (Joffrey), and Tarantella (Balanchine). Carl was also given the opportunity to be the Assistant Ballet Master from 1992-1994 and Ballet Master in 1995. Carl has been a guest teacher and choreographer to ballet companies across the country since 1988.


Elise Flagg CorryElise Flagg Corry was chosen at the tender age of 12 by George Balanchine to attend his prestigious School of American Ballet in New York City. When she graduated at 16 she was immediately taken into the New York City Ballet where she danced corps, solo, and principal roles for 10 years before going to Europe to dance with Rudolf Nureyev. When she returned in the early 80's and still dancing she studied Pilates intensely with Judy Kovan and Patrick Strong in New York City. Elise has studied the Pilates Method ever since and in 1998 she and Carl began the teacher training program with Chicago's esteemed Juanita Lopez, one of the finest teacher trainers of the Pilates Method in the United States.

Elise and Carl Corry Founded Pilates Fitness Inc. in 2000, Establishing this thriving studio was the culmination of years of training in both classical ballet and the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning as it was perfected by Joseph Pilates and his remarkable protégé, Romana Kryzanowska.


Robbie Mackey Robbie Mackey, a native of Georgia, now makes his home in Orlando, Florida, where he spends most of his time directing and choreographing for the Walt Disney Company. During his ten years with Disney, Robbie has had the pleasure of working with such stars as Tony Bennett, Tommy Tune, Pati LaBelle, Rita Moreno, Ben Vareen, and the New Kids on the Block. He has travelled internationally to teach, choreograph and dance in Spain, Hungary, France, Japan and Canada, and enjoys teaching master classes nationally with Dance Olympus, Dance Masters, and Rhee Gold's American Dance Awards.


Thomas PantoThomas Panto, an Atlanta native, started dancing at the age of eleven and began his training with the Dance Theatre Southwest under the direction of Patricia Dickinson. At the age of 15 he moved to the east to train in a full time setting with the Baltimore School for the Arts and the School of American Ballet. After graduating Tommy moved to Los Angeles to study Business and Marketing in Fashion from UCLA and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, graduating with a degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. While in Los Angeles, he trained and studied with Marat Duakayev of the Kirov/Kirov Academy, and Patricia Neary of NYCB until his acceptance to Atlanta Ballet. Last season he had the pleasure of dancing Don Quixote in John McFall's Don Quixote, the premier of John McFall's Firebird, and Christopher Hampson's Sinfonietta Giocosa.


Antoinette PelosoAntoinette Peloso has been a long-time member and principal dancer of The Metropolitan Opera Company in New York, where she has worked with many ballet luminaries includihng Alvin Ailey, George Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Natalia Makarova, Antony Dowell and Fernando Bujones. Born and raised in New Mexico, at 13 Antoinette won a spot in England's Royal Ballet School, where she received extensive training in classical and character techniques, including the Vaganova and Cechetti methods. After graduating with distinction, she returned to the U.S. and began dancing professionally in New York. She has appeared as a guest artist with companies across the U.S., dancing roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Les Sylphides, and Spartacus, among others.


Peter PucciPeter Pucci, for nine years a principal dancer with Pilobolus Dance Theatre and a guest artist with numerous ballet and modern dance companies (including the Joffrey Ballet's Billboards to music by Prince), has directed and choreographed his own New York company, Peter Pucci Plus Dancers, since 1989. Peter has choreographed and/or performed with Pilobolus Dance Theatre, Peter Pucci Plus Dancers, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Met, Daniel Ezalow and Friends, In the Company of Men, Ten Shawn Dancers, and has won several awards. His work has been seen on television (including as choreographer for "Bear" in Bear in the Big Blue House), in feature films and on the theatrical stage (including work in Sam Shepard's plays). Peter holds degrees in Physical Ed from Towson State University and BFA Modern Dance from North Carolina School of the Arts.


Mel Tomlinson Mel Tomlinson was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended the North Carolina School for the Arts, studied in Italy in 1973 and received his BFA degree in 1974. He was a Guest Artist with the North Carolina Dance Theatre, a Principal Dancer with Agnes DeMille's Heritage Dance Theater, a member of Dance Theatre of Harlem, a Principal with Alvin Ailey's American Dance Theatre, a guest with the Joffrey Ballet, and a member of the New York City Ballet by invitation from George Balanchine. He has guested with Las Cruces Chamber Ballet, Florida Ballet, Jacques d'Amboise's National Dance Institute, North Carolina Repertory Dance Theatre and many others. He has studied and taught dance at the Boston School of Music, the Boston Conservatory for Music, Harvard University and UNC Charlotte. Mr. Tomlinson is a coach, teacher, speaker, choreographer, and dancewear designer, and is under the auspices of Michele's Dance Academy (directed by Michele and Kevin Self) in Las Cruces, New Mexico.


Rima Vargas-Vetter Rima Vargas-Vetter trained classically in Florence, London, Paris and New York with such people as Paul Goube, Louis Falco (Limon technique), David Howard, Joyce Tristler, and at the Alvin Ailey School. She performed in Europe with various classical and modern companies, including Ballet Caravan, Les Ballets Peter Goss, and Joseph Rusillo Company. She danced and choreographed for French and German television shows, as well as for the shows of various French performers, and acted and danced in a number of French films. Ms. Vargas-Vetter has been featured in All That Jazz, The Cotton Club, Dancin', Tribute to Richard Rogers, Lady Susan, Cyrano de Bergerac, Chamber Music, Ludlow Fair, and Dark Lady of the Sonnets. She has worked with such choreographers as Claude Thompson, Lester Wilson, Larry Vickers, Arthur Mitchell, Michael Smuin, George Faison, and Hinton Battle.
